Danny just knew Locke regretted her consent the moment the words left her mouth and she reached for the bowl on Mel's desk to take the last scrap of paper.

He couldn't believe that he'd managed to draw Locke's name, but the odds weren't overwhelming since it was just the five of them: Paul, Mel, Carter, Locke and himself.

He knew exactly what to get her. She'd love him for it. Maybe even enough to smile at him when she unwrapped it.

He winced as he considered the possibility that she had pulled his name out of the bowl.

Having Locke as his secret santa would be ten kinds of suck.

"Well, I haven't done that with you before," Mel offered tentatively after a few minutes of silence.

"Yes you have." Danny grinned. Noting her confused look, he added, "In my dreams."

She swatted his chest playfully, relieved by his smile. "Dirty old man."

"I'm dirty?" Danny protested. "I seem to recall a certain suggestion that did not come from me." He rolled back on top of her. "And once they're past thirty, women age a lot faster than men."

Mel narrowed her eyes at him and wriggled her hips, grinning in satisfaction when Danny's eyes crossed. "I'll get you for that."

"I'm counting on it."

"Disneyland?" Rebecca asks incredulously.

"Yep." Danny keeps his eyes on the road.

She tries again. "Now?"

"Yep."

"But… why?" She bites her lip and has a horrible feeling there's something she should have remembered. Danny's tight expression and rigid shoulders before they got into the car should have told her all she needed to know.

"Because, Locke. Now drop it."

Rebecca drops it and looks out the window. What's so important about this weekend? She analyzes the dates and looks at the situation from every possible angle. Her eyes go wide when she finally realizes why Danny is upset.

She glances at him and sees him looking back at her.

He nods grimly. "Happy anniversary, Locke."

"Stop that." He sounded decidedly annoyed.

She grinned, glad she'd finally elicited a response from him. "Make me."

Sighing in aggravation, he reached for the remote. To her surprise and annoyance, he turned up the volume instead of switching the TV off. She'd have to pull out the big guns.

Shrugging out of her vest, she struck a seductive pose. "Is it me or is it hot in here?"

"Thermostat's over there," he said, pointing vaguely over his shoulder.

She rolled her eyes and decided to crawl over to him and straddle his lap.

He only glared at her. "I am never, ever watching the game with you again."

"See? That's why they won't win. Every idiot on this show should be able to at least read a map." Danny gesticulated wildly at the screen. "I swear, if I--"

"Were on that show you would kick ass," Rebecca interrupted him, suppressing an eye-roll. "I know. You say that every time when we watch it."

Danny was too busy shaking his head at the alleged morons on the screen to notice an evil sparkle in his girlfriend's eyes. She patted his knee and left the room, leaving Danny to glance at her retreating rear end approvingly before turning his attention back to the screen.

Within thirty seconds, Rebecca returned and tossed an envelope in his lap.

"What's that?" Danny picked it up and examined it.

"The Amazing Race." Rebecca smirked at his alarmed expression. "You're going to see the world."
